  • What is this blog?[+]
Trained as a professional writer, and with a deep interest in politics and economics, I currently have very little creative outlet for my thoughts on the topics of the day. I currently work in marketing, which sounds creative, but it's within a narrow focus. I wanted a chance to practice my craft, and spew hatred at the current political situation. I also get to mess around with WP and RapidWeaver and test ideas on the design side. All-in-all, it's for fun.
  • Who are you?[+]
I haven't had a chance to sit down and write an about me section yet, so here's a brief summary. A 2004 graduate of Carleton University's prestigious Journalism Honours program, I am now living in BC. I've never worked professionally as a reporter, only as a marketer, but since I've never done it for a political party, don't expect to read spin.
  • What is your political affiliation?[+]
None. I have voted for different parties and candidates at different times based on who I thought represented my views best. I am a social liberal, and a fiscal conservative, so for a long-time, the liberals, with their campaign on the left, govern from the right mantra seemed to make sense to me, even if I didn't always agree with some of their social programs. In the current political climate, I am not well represented by any political party. Many of my colleagues and friends share that sentiment.
  • Why don’t you just run for office?[+]
Tempting, but I believe that requires large sums of money. I do not have those things, and no desire to run in Quebec under the NDP banner. If I did, I guess I'd be an MP now.
  • I noticed this page kinda looks like crap...[+]
Yes. This particular page does not look as nice as the rest. I'm currently testing some import functions with the accordion stack in RapidWeaver. I'll get back to you on that. Thanks for noticing.
  • I would like to be your campaign manager.[+]
Line up some donors and get a good start on the fundraising, and you're hired.
  • What do you do when people offer you SEO services or make nonsense comments for links?[+]
I'm compiling a list, and when I have more time, I'll make another page where I'll post their unsolicited emails for the spiders to eat.
